2023 Champions for Children

This year’s Champions for Children Golf Tournament was a day to remember with beautifulweather, delicious food, great golf (for some), and exciting pickleball! Besides all the fun, this year’s tournament was a financial success raising over $300,000 for children and families impacted by abuse in our community! 2023 Passion for Fashion

This year’s Fashion Show returned to the Tyson’s Corner Bloomingdale’s, where fun, fashion, and food took center stage. Also taking center stage were the children and families served by SafeSpot. Thanks to our sponsors and donors, we raised $215,000 for our programs and services, ensuring children impacted by abuse have a safe place to be heard, believed, and supported.

2022 Champions for Children

This year’s Champions for Children Eagles n’ Aces Golf Tournament was record setting in every way possible. With 29 foursomes, 37 sponsors – including Presenting Sponsors Ernst & Young, Trustar Bank, and Marc and Shaza Andersen, and more than 200 dinner guests, it was a day and night to remember! Our Superheroes for SafeSpot 5k & Fun Run was a success, all thanks to our sponsors, runners, and volunteers. We are thrilled to announce that we raised over $60,000 for child survivors of abuse in Fairfax County.

CASA Superhero Run/Walk

SafeSpot supported CASA’s Run/Walk to promote awareness about child abuse and neglect, while raising money for CASA volunteers.

Child Abuse Proclamation

April 9th, 2019

As part of April Child Abuse Prevention month, SafeSpot and other community leaders joined Fairfax County Board of Supervisors in a proclamation ceremony to recognize Child Abuse Prevention Month and Sexual Assault Awareness Month.

Crime Victims Rights Fair

April 7th, 2019

SafeSpot team supported Fairfax County Police Departments National Crime Victims fair. The week long initiative promotes victims rights and honors crime victims and those who advocate on their behalf. Fairfax County Police Department Victim Services Division hosts an event each year to honor crime victims and assist in bringing awareness to crime victims rights and services in Fairfax County.
