Community Partners

SafeSpot Children’s Advocacy Center of Fairfax is a non-profit that provides direct services to child victims of sexual abuse and severe physical abuse in Fairfax County. At the Advocacy Center, the needs of the CHILD are the top priority. The center is designed to reduce the trauma experienced by child abuse victims as they navigate the legal, investigative and social service systems following an allegation of abuse. SafeSpot is a public-private partnership with Fairfax County Law Enforcement, Child Protective Services, The Commonwealth Attorney’s Office, and Inova Fairfax Hospital.

Community Partners

  • SafeSpot is comprised of an inter-agency multi-disciplinary team, or MDT, consisting of representatives from the following agencies:

  • Herndon Police Department
  • Fairfax County Department of Family Services, Child Protective Services
  • Fairfax County Victim Services
  • Office of the Commonwealth’s Attorney of Fairfax County
  • Inova Ewing FACT Department, A Division of Inova Safety Net
  • Fairfax County Public School, Department of Human Resources, Internal Investigations
